An original installation that which brings the colorful mosaic close to the golden metallic elements, represents an ars poetica transcending visual art. A few objects – the brush, a demiurgic tool of the artist, the seashell, symbol of pure tears and the iconic image for the sacrifice brought by the artist to the Providence, respectively the golden carafe, in which the tears of the creator gather, over time, suggest the only possible dialectics in the relationship between the mundane creator and the divine. Matter, sacrifice and healing – these are the only states that the artist must be capable of in order to reach, in his corner of the world, the capacity to play the role of a true messenger of God. Any work to be done has a price that the author pays ascetically: tears turn into colors, sacrifices turn into masterpieces, artists engage, through their work, a different kind of Eucharistic mystery: the carafe is a symbol of the divine miracle, of transgression of water into wine or weeping into joy. The work creates an alchemy on sight, the artist’s intimacy with God being fully revealed.
