You cannot ignore the fact that you are connected to something much bigger than you.You need to dive deep inside yourself, and discover ideas and emotions that you recognize, sometimes without ever having experienced them before.
This is the moment when you flash light on the germs of creation that has always been inside you, in the most surprising and hidden areas of your own self, waiting to be discovered and expressed. In solitude and deep introspection, the only way of thinking is with your own mind, by digging deep into yourself and leaving behind anything that does not fuel what yearns to pass through you. And after clearing the waters of thought, you start seeing the colours, the thoughts turn into shapes that your hand translates onto the canvas. You recognize your thought there and witness the way it teaches you how to paint it.
Alone with your work, you then walk barefoot on the floor of your studio, knowing that you can always wash your feet and start again.
